The mid-range John Deere 5100R tractor excels in a variety of farming operations, including haying, baling, tillage, and loader jobs. Its amazing power source is a 4.5L PowerTech EWL 4-cylinder engine with 100 horsepower with a turbocharger and intercooler to improve performance and fuel economy.
The 5100R comes with two gearbox options: the PowerQuad Plus manual transmission with 16 forward and 16 reverse gears, or the AutoQuad Plus semi-automatic transmission with 20 forward and 20 reverse gears. Both gearbox choices have a power reverser, which allows for quick and easy directional changes.
