The engine Won’t Crank

Reason

Solution

In a removal method, you have to figure out what’s wrong with each reason.

• Check the battery and give it a charge.

• Check to see if the radiator is dirty. If it is, you will need to clean it. Clean the inside of the radiator with a hose. If the radiator is very dirty, you can clean it properly with a radiator cleaner.
• Check the belt on the fan. If the belt is torn or worn out, it must be changed right away.

White Smoke Emission

The white smoke that comes out of the tractor’s exhaust line is bad for the environment and bad for the engine.

The white emissions are mostly caused by broken engine rings and clogged air filters.

Solution

Take off the cylinder head to check the piston rings. If any of the rings are broken or worn out, you should get new ones.

• Find the canister for the air filter on the top side of the engine. Take off the top of the box. Once the cover or lid is off, you should be able to see the filter element inside the case.

• Now put the new filter element in place. Make sure it fits well in the case and that the clips are in the right places.
• Replace the air filter housing’s cover or lid and close it tightly.
