Given its age and obsolescence, replace it immediately. Gasoline and water can oxidize and kill. Gas with 10% ethanol is ideal; ethanol-free gases may also provide advantages.

If your premix fails, drain and flush both the gas cylinder and fuel connection carefully, before replacing it with a new premix mixture.

Starting problems:

Your tractor was correctly started up – you pressed the start button, and verified battery capacity and electrical outlets – but something went wrong during its starting.

Now is your opportunity to uncover where it lies; one effective and straightforward method of doing so is using a voltmeter.

Solution

Setting the voltmeter to DC and connecting both negative and positive ends of the solenoid starter’s battery terminal using wires are necessary to use solenoid starter.

Once the wires and cables have been repaired, turn the key to see if your mower starts up. Inspect the voltmeter for any signals on its screen.

Coil failure:

Coil failure is a regular mower issue. Like the John Deere 345 mower. Your mower may not work due to a damaged coil.

345s have ignition and pulser coils. Both may hurt. The igniter or high-tension wiring may be faulty. Replace plugs.
