1590 Drill Seed/Fertilizer Delivery System
The seed tube support holds up a long internally smooth seed tube with a molded elbow. It is then attached to a brief convoluted seed tube letting the product flow freely and still flex to the opening.
To ensure regular seed flow the tube flexes to prevent crimping. For long life, it is made of non-corrosive nylon material. Short tubes are 4.25 in. long, whereas long tubes are 21.8 in.
To send the seed tube to the openers, bend at the elbow at meters. Smooth seed flow from the meters to the furrow openers is made possible by the smooth interior diameter.
With 7.5-in. row spacing, the grain/fertilizer combo drill has a convoluted tube that transports fertilizer from the discharge hole to the top of the steel seed tube at the seed boot. After that, a unique Y-adapter enables fertilizer and seed to mix before entering the furrow.
