Ford launched the Ford 3000 Tractor at the beginning of 1965. It was part of Ford’s 1000 Series of tractors.
It was a ground-up new platform intended to replace the “Hundred Series” or “Prior” Fords made from 1955 through 1964.
Ford 3000 Tractor equipped with a 3-cylinder OHV, water-cooled engine, which produces 47 hp (35.0 kW) at rated rpm 2100.
Ford 3000 could be ordered with a 175-cubic-inch diesel engine or Ford-built 158-cubic-inch gas.
It was rated at 37 HP at the PTO (Power take-off). Optional transmission systems were 4-speed, 6-speed, 8-speed, and 10-speed powershift transmissions.
Some of the available options were power steering, differential lock, hydraulic remote valves, and Live PTO.
