The Farmall 400 tractor is nothing more than a Farmall Super M-TA with fancier tin. The Farmall M tractor is one of my all-time beloved tractors, and the Super version of the Farmall M tractor is even more powerful.
The torque amplifier adds another layer of power, making the Farmall Super M-TA one of the more sought-after tractors in its class. This demand is for a good reason!

Farmall 400 Tractor Review
The Farmall 400 was a useful and dependable tractor made by IH from 1954 to 1958. People liked it because it was affordable, had a Hydra-Touch hydraulic system, and was easy to keep in good shape.
However, it ran on gasoline and had a narrow front part, which made it use more fuel and less stable when hauling heavy stuff.
