This is the most expensive biggest piece of junk I have ever purchased. Since I bought it, here’s what I’ve been through…within the first 6 months I had to replace the solenoid and battery. Next, the month after the warranty expired, the engine blew a rod. When the repair man came out he stated “Ya Briggs has had problems with these engines. , we’re fixing them all the time. After paying $1000.00 to have this repair done it still didn’t start. The repair man said it was the solenoid. Again, I said I’ll replace it myself & save on his fee. The machine ran for about 3 months, now the drive belt broke, Ok fixed that. Won’t start again, solenoid and new battery. Now I’m thinking some connection keeps blowing the solenoid. I bought this machine NEW, so I would only have to do routine maintenance. With all I’ve spent I could of had a better machine DO NOT BUY THIS LAWN TRACTOR
I bought a used Craftsman T2400 riding mower, model number 917.250830 and want to purchase a bagger for this mower. but am having a hard time locating. The part number as shown on the mower sticker is 24903, is this bagger still produced or do I have to buy a used one?
I have already bought 2 baggers and had to return them as they do not fit the T2400 but fit the T240 that is currently being offered as the 46″ cut mower. I was told this mower was built in 2015 or 2016 but am not sure.
