Bacchanal is one of the best places to eat at Caesars Palace, and it serves high-end food. This Sin City restaurant is unlike any other buffet in Las Vegas because it has an interactive kitchen, a unique design, and a wide range of dishes that are each made by hand.

Bacchanal Buffet overview

Bacchanal Buffet was built and decorated for roughly $18 million when it opened in 2012. It was very clear from an away that this eating experience in Sin City would be the buffet of all buffets.

Freshly cooked meals from all around the world were to be served. It quickly became apparent that eating at the Bacchanal is a must-do activity while traveling to Las Vegas.

Originally, this famous Las Vegas buffet had nine kitchens. The buffet was recognized as the “Best Buffet” by USA Today in 2012 and 2013. The restaurant has won countless accolades since then.

The Covid epidemic prompted Bacchanal and the majority of the city’s buffets to shut down in 2020. Thankfully, Bacchanal reopened in May 2021 following a $2.4 million renovation.

Bacchanal Buffet Décor And Renovation

2021 saw Caesars Bacchanal’s post-COVID redesign. Pulp Studio, a global leader in architectural decorative glass, oversaw this multimillion-dollar makeover.

Original buffet designer Tetsuo Aoyagi aided revamp. Bacchanal’s administration wanted to keep the original glass-and-stone design.

What’s new with Caesars Bacchanal’s redesign? The venue’s buffets have 9 open kitchens, and the decor is still inspired by nature.

New fish station and redesigned food line. This new fish station has glass panels so customers can see the modern equipment, open-fire grills, and fresh seafood.

The menu remains outstanding. This Las Vegas buffet has food carts with increased selections.

Additionally, Caesars is asking that guests limit their time in the restaurant to 90 mins. There have been 2-hour limitations before however, this is a brand-new lower-bar limit.

Actually, the time you show up at the buffet counter is printed on the receipt. We’re not sure of what the procedure will be (if it will even be enforced) However, you need to be aware.

Holiday & Special Event Pricing at the Bacchanal Buffet 2024

The buffet at Caesars Palace often has a higher price tag throughout major holidays like Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, etc. (and around other major events like Super Bowl weekend). A minimum purchase of $89.99 is required.

The Bacchanal alters its menu and prices for special occasions including Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Year’s Eve.

For instance, a recent New Year’s Eve buffet was $129.99.

New Menu Items

In addition to the millions spent on refurbishment, The Bacchanal Buffet has undergone a multi-million dollar makeover, and along with it comes a brand-new menu and unique tableside food carts.

A waitress pushes a dim sum cart around the room, buffet-style, to distribute a variety of items to diners.

Among the many options available at mobile eateries are wagyu Japanese hot dogs, seafood boil bags, and foie gras peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

Among the most up-to-date additions to the menu are quesadillas stuffed with duck carnitas, oysters soaked in chipotle barbecue bourbon, and baby octopus roasted in turmeric and topped with freshly sliced XO chili.

Sweet potato fritters packed with quinoa, kale chips, tomato tartar, and coconut-carrot gazpacho are just some of the new vegan dishes on the menu. But don’t expect a standard salad bar spread here.

In the new dessert section, guests may choose from items like Earl Grey mousse popcorn drizzled with salted caramel, Death by Chocolate cupcakes, yuzu tarts, use chiffon cakes, and gelato in more than ten varieties.

Of course, the buffet staples like prime rib as well as steamed crab leg, cold crab legs, and much more are still available.

The brunch menu, menu has been updated with new items such as red velvet waffles, green tea pancake birthday cake pancakes truffle egg-shaped truffles crab Florentine Benedict, and plant-based sausages. (More about that later).

Bacchanal Buffet Unlimited Drinks

At one point, you could have paid $19.99 for an unlimited upgrade to your drink. However, it appears to have vanished.

Bottomless draught beer, house wines (red or white), white or red champagne, sangria, and mimosas are all available for $19.99.

Coors Light and Blue Moon were among the beers served during a recent visit.

Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace Dinner Menu

The buffet consists of a number of stations, or “show kitchens” as they like to call them.

Rather than the usual massive portions served in enormous pans, the Bacchanal is notable for its diversity of small plates.

As straightforward as the condiments are beautiful in Caesars Palace.

For instance, mustard condiments including whole grain mustard, Dijon mustard, and violet mustard can be found in the deli.

Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace Dinner Menu

Since you don’t particularly enjoy mustard, I’ll give a brief overview of each display kitchen instead.

Caesars claims that the menus are constantly changing “depending on the season and the chef’s mood.” As a result, we are unable to provide a complete list of the menu items, but you will probably find many of the mentioned things at the buffet meal.

Meat

Be aware that the meat selection can change, and the items listed may not always be available. However, carnivores can enjoy dishes like freshly-carved American steamship wagyu, freshly-carved smoked Brisket, slab bacon, prime rib, tri-tip grill, BBQ duck wings, roast turkey, rotisserie chicken, wood-fired grilled Quail (with Chipolte cherry sauce), and bone-in ham. Puffed Mexican snacks like Chicharron and Duros (puffed grain of wheat) with chili and lime are also available (fried pork belly, also known as rinds).

Chips, salsa, guacamole, and regular and flour tortillas (with and without holes) round up the spread.

Also of note, you can choose from three distinct Mexican drinks.

Pina Aqua Fresca, Guava Aqua Fresca, and the popular Mexican sweet-rice cocktail horchata are all available in self-service (non-alcoholic).
