Air Cairo Carry-on Baggage

No matter where you’re going, you can bring one carry-on bag that can’t weigh more than 7 kg. And have a maximum size of (55+40+23).

The total of these three sizes, though, can’t be more than (45 inches) (118 cm). These measurements include things like wheels, handles, side pockets, and so on.

In addition to the allowed number of carry-on things, the following are also allowed:

• An umbrella or walking stick.
• A small camera.
• A pair of binoculars.
• A reasonable amount of reading material for the flight.
• A pair of crutches and/or braces is required by a passenger.

Carry-on Luggage Restrictions

Air Cairo wants you to know that, for your safety and in line with international rules, there are some things you can’t bring on board in your carry-on or cabin bag.

• If you have liquids or gels (aerosols, pastes, like water, drinks, creams, perfumes, sprays, gels, toothpaste, lip gloss, and mascara) in containers larger than 100 mL/100 g (3.4 oz) in your carry-on bag, they will be taken away at the security screening.
• If you bought something duty-free, your liquid and ticket must be sealed inside a security bag with a red border at the time of purchase.
• Don’t open the security bag until you get to where you’re going.

There are exceptions for liquid, paste, aerosol, or gel dietary supplements and personal medicines.

Baggage must meet the carry-on size limits of Air Cairo.

• Because there isn’t much room in the overhead bins, Air Cairo passengers on trips with 50 seats or less can only bring one personal item on board.

Air Cairo Musical Instruments

You can bring your instrument with you into the cabin if you want to. Depending on how big and how heavy it is, you can either bring it with you as carry-on luggage or book an extra ticket.

You can also bring your musical instrument with you and check it in as an extra piece of luggage.

Musical Instruments as Carry-on Baggage 

• You can bring your musical instrument into the bedroom for free as long as its height, width, and depth don’t go over 55 x 40 x 23 cm and its weight doesn’t go over 8 kg.
• Please keep in mind that your musical instrument will take the place of one of your allowed carry-on items. If this is the case, you won’t be able to bring any more carry-on items with you.
• If the tools weigh more than 32 KGS or are longer than 203 cm, they must be taken as cargo.

Musical Instruments with Their Own Ticket Booking

If your musical instrument is bigger than 55 cm by 40 cm by 23 cm, you will need to book an extra seat. You have to book this when you book your own ticket.

Air Cairo Baggage Irregularities

You should tell an Air Cairo representative about delayed, lost, or damaged luggage as soon as you get to your target airport and before you leave the baggage claim area to get a file reference number.

Damaged Baggage 

• If your luggage is broken, you should report it right away to the “lost and found” office at the airport. There, a report called a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) will be made.
• When you report the damage at the airport, you will get the paperwork and information you need right there. With these tools, you can talk to our customer service about how to get your bag picked up for free.
• If you don’t notice the damage until you get home, or if your luggage is late, you must let us know right away online, along with proof of the flight, and our customer service must get it within 7 days of your arrival.

Contents of Bags Lost

• The Customer Service Department needs to know right away, but no later than 7 days after the loss, what was in the bag. Please fill out the following form to report the loss:
• If any of the items in your checked luggage are missing, you must let us know in writing right away, but no later than 7 days or 21 days, if your luggage was delayed after it was returned to you. Please fill out the broken baggage form to report lost items or damaged bags:

• At check-in, Air Cairo staff will greet the child with his or her parents or another person who has been chosen to go with them.
• Parents must fill out a disclaimer and give all the necessary information about the person who will be waiting for them at the location.

Info to Family Seating

• Air Cairo will do everything it can to make sure that children under 12 who are traveling with their families are placed close to them. We suggest booking early and choosing your seats when you book if you are going with children or babies. You can choose your seats on AIRCAIRO.COM, the APP, the call center, or through your ticket agent.
• Depending on the fare you choose, you may have to pay extra to choose your place. If you don’t choose your seats ahead of time, we’ll do our best to find your family seats next to each other in the cabin you booked. But there may not be many places left at that time.
• Air Cairo will make sure that its staff, flight attendants, and in-flight processes do everything they can to seat children under 12 next to the adult who is with them.

Exit row seat requirements and conditions

Authorities have put out rules about safety that say some people can’t sit next to the emergency exit. These people on board are:

• Children under 14 years old and babies.
• People traveling with babies or children younger than 14
• Passengers who are traveling with someone who needs help in an emergency, like a baby or child, unless another adult is sitting with the child elsewhere.
• People traveling with pets or service dogs in the house.
• Women who are pregnant
• travelers who are physically or mentally disabled.
• Passengers who can’t move around easily because of their size, age, or health.
• Even people who don’t want to or can’t move quickly can help the team in an emergency.

Air Cairo Baggage Allowance For Infants

Customers who are going with babies and kids:

The staff of Air Cairo is always there to help mothers and babies during the whole trip. We are happy to have customers who want to travel with healthy babies between the ages of 7 days and 24 months.

• Parents who travel with babies and young children:
• Customers who are traveling with babies or children must have a birth certificate to prove their age.
• Parents can bring food for their babies to eat on the trip, as well as napkins, diapers, and other baby items. They can also bring one bassinet for the baby, which will count as one of the free carry-on items as long as the baby and bassinet don’t weigh more than 10 kg together.
• You can bring one stroller for each child you’re traveling with, in addition to your carry-on and checked bag limits. This is true no matter where you’re going. Air Cairo strongly suggests that you use small umbrella-style strollers that fold up.
• You can’t sit in the emergency exit spots if you have a child or an infant with you.​
• A single adult who is 16 or older can travel with two babies, but the second baby must pay the child fare and take a seat.​
• For safety reasons, a mother and father traveling with two babies will be given places across the aisle from each other.
